About the Position

The Clinic Coordinator serves as the face of the clinic for clients and their families and supports the clinical team by flexibly serving multiple functions at our Center for Autism Services. You’ll be successful if you are a strong communicator, can work independently, and have the ability to manage a moderately complex and fluid schedule for both staff and our clients. You’ll also need to have, at minimum, a cursory level of understanding of the services we provide at our Center, including our outpatient rehab services. In addition to these critical aspects, you’ll need to be comfortable being the main point of contact for ensuring the clinic is cleaned, safe, and well stocked with the supplies and items that it needs to run well on a day to day basis. You will be fully supported in this role as our entire team contributes daily and we have an operations team that provides support and guidance with regards to what needs to be done. So to recap what you will need to be successful, the required skills and competencies are listed below, followed by an overview of the job responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Exceed clinic standards of care regarding scheduling of client appointments, assessments, and trainings across four unique disciplines
  • Provide support to ensure accuracy and continuity of staff schedules
  • Obtain and maintain prior (insurance) authorizations for our Center for Autism services clients
  • Assist other administrative staff in coordinating inbound and outbound client referrals
  • Attend and contribute to regular staff meetings
  • Provide key reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Allow for excellent first impression and overall experience by providing excellent customer service
  • Attend to inbound phone calls and addressing any needs or concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring our high standards of cleaning and sanitization are being met. All staff play a part in cleaning each clinic on a day to day basis
  • You will either order materials (cleaning, learning, etc) directly or be asked to communicate the needs to the appropriate person so that the items can be ordered
  • As is to be expected, this role will have miscellaneous supporting functions that cannot be captured in a job description
