Pediatric Occupational Therapist (bilingual preferred)

Play Works Children’s Therapies, located in Hood River, Oregon, is seeking an exceptional Lead Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team! Play Works provides Speech and language, Occupational, Physical, Feeding/Nutrition services, and ABA therapies for children 0 to 18 years of age.

We are looking for a hard-working, playful, and dynamic Pediatric OT (bilingual preferred) who has experience working with the pediatric population. Job Description


  • Education and License to work as an Occupational Therapist in Oregon
  • Proven effective leadership experience/skills
  • Positive Attitude
  • Subject matter expert across several areas including Sensory Integration and Feeding Disorders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education and License to work as an Occupational Therapist in both Oregon and Washington
  • 2 years experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist
  • Experience with providing OT via teletherapy
  • Bilingual Spanish/English or strong Spanish proficiency preferred


  • Performs all clinical duties and meets all minimum qualifications established for respective areas of practice.
  • Maintains professional standards and serves as a role model by setting professional goals and participating in activities to meet departmental goals.
  • Effectively relates and interacts with patients, families, health care teams and supervised staff and serves as a role model for others.
  • Serves as an advocate for Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physical Therapy and ABA.
  • Serves as a primary resource for creation, implementation, and training for orientation of new employees, including role functions, policies and procedures, and clinical information systems.
  • Assists and directs staff in the identification of their own learning needs and assists staff in meeting those needs, promoting staff development.
  • Promotes teamwork by strengthening a team environment and fostering collaboration.
  • Employee participates in activities and events which increase public awareness of Play Works services within the community, mentoring others on skills needed to do the same.
  • Performs activities related to departmental operations: Departmental productivity, Policy & procedure review and implementation.
  • Actively participates in departmental planning, marketing/content development, and implementation of new programs.
  • Meets regularly with Clinic Director and other members of the leadership team.
  • Assists with coordination of departmental performance improvement activities.
  • Supervision of Level II Fieldwork candidates.
