COVID-19 Policies

Clinic Policies and Procedures

  1. Families will have the option to choose between a telehealth visit or in-clinic visit at their previously scheduled time. Families who maintained their appointments via telehealth will receive priority in scheduling. Families who discontinued services will be contacted after all current families have been placed onto the schedule.

  2. Employees and clients will be asked to wear a mask and/or face shield when ever appropriate and maintain social distancing as much as possible. (Depending on the child’s response and caregiver feedback, therapists will use their discretion to determine the appropriateness of using a mask.)

  3. All therapists will wear latex gloves in session

  4. Temperature checks and a short health questionnaire for patients/families and employees may be conducted. If anyone in your family is sick, please call to reschedule your appointment.

  6. The waiting room will remain closed.

  7. Contactless payment arrangements will be set up whenever possible. 'Credit card on file' forms will be available electronically and/or payments may be made over the phone.

  8. Patients entering the facility must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before entering the therapy room.

  9. Toys utilized during therapy sessions will be kept to a minimum and sanitized between use.

  10. Employees will sanitize their therapy room between each client. Each therapy session will end 5 minutes early to allow the therapist time to complete this task.

  11. These procedures will be in place until further notice. Please keep in mind insurance can deem telehealth un-necessary at any time. If a patient has not returned to the clinic and their telehealth benefit has expired, the standing appointment time will be removed from the schedule and given to the next client on the waiting list.
