Mandy graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2016 with an M.Ed in Foundations in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She is passionate about designing meaningful, individualized, and effective programming that is enriching, playful and implemented with evidence-based practices to help those struggling with disabilities associated with Autism and related disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings which include the public-school system, a behavior school, clinics, homes, and communities, and has assisted learners of diverse abilities and behavior intensities from 20 months to 22 years of age. Her goal is to increase communication and life skills, so individuals can access what they want and need, and promote neurodiverse participation within communities. Mandy is thrilled to work at Play Works because it is a collaborative setting that matches her therapeutic and personal values. Playing is an essential part of her life in and out of work. In her free time, she enjoys chasing her two boys around playgrounds, pump tracks, the slopes, and hiking trails, and white water kayaking and skiing big mountains with her husband. She is ecstatic to help those in need of ABA services and to call the Columbia River Gorge home.
