John Sundbo

Moving to the Gorge area from his home State of Minnesota, John comes to Play Works with an Associate's degree with honors in Occupational Therapy Assistance from Herzing University in Minneapolis, MN. Having previous experience as a paraprofessional in the public school setting and prior fieldwork experiences in a TCU, long-term acute care facility, and an outpatient pediatric ASD clinic, John quickly realized he loves working in pediatrics. He enjoys working with children and matching their imagination, creativity, and energy to provide skilled therapy. He is incredibly excited to grow his skills and career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Play Works, where he is eager to apply his personality to growing close working relationships and friendships with everyone he can to make Play Works his home away from home.

While being away from Play Works, John enjoys gathering with friends for tabletop games, finding new local restaurant menus and new recipes to cook, and spending time relaxing in nature and enjoying the company of others. He is always ready to take any recommendations and advice regarding activities to try and locations to visit.
