Naomi Kotkins

MS CCC-SLP, Lead Speech Language Pathologist

Naomi earned her MS in Speech and Hearing Sciences and her BS in Psychology from Portland State University. After graduating with her Bachelors, Naomi’s volunteer work led her to the world of Speech-Language Pathology. From there, she re-enrolled as a post-baccalaureate student and began her journey toward becoming an SLP. During her post-bac and graduate school studies, Naomi was an active member in an Autism research lab, where she developed a love for evidence-based assessment and treatment for individuals on the spectrum. She is a proponent of the neurodiversity movement, and focuses her practice using a strengths-based, child-led approach to therapy. Other clinical interests include feeding, dyslexia, articulation and phonological disorders, executive function differences, and early language development. Naomi is passionate about embracing the things that make our clients special and unique and she loves empowering families through knowledge and practical advice.

Naomi is originally from the Portland/Vancouver area. She is excited to live in Hood River and spend more time skiing and hiking with her dog Nelson. Naomi calls herself a hobby enthusiast. Among her many interests, she loves drawing, painting, interior design, kayaking, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
