Our expert speech-language pathologists work one-on-one with your child to assess and address the most common difficulties in language and communication development.
A child’s “occupation” is to play, learn, and grow, and we help children engage, participate, and gain confidence in themselves through functional and fun play and learning sessions. This has been edited.
Whether your child has experienced injury, disease, or other difficulties, Play Works can help them build strength, motor function, balance, and coordination in fun, creative ways.
An Interdisciplinary Diagnostic Assessment is conducted by our clinical team including a psychologist and a speech and language pathologist. The developmental assessment may also include an occupational and physical therapy assessment, based on reported needs.
More than just “teaching a child to eat,” our team works closely with parents and children to determine feeding difficulties and how to make the entire process easier for everyone.
For more in-depth, one-on-one treatment needs, our intensives are tailored to each child, parent, and family, and vary in length from four days to two weeks of daily play, learning, and growth.
